Today Gammie and Pappie had a Labor Day picnic. We had a good time-there were a lot of people and even more kids-which was fun for me!

Today me, mommie,gammie and pappie all went to the Pittsburgh Zoo. We had a lot of fun-I got to see a lot of animals but the best were the baby tiger and 2 baby elephants!

Today I learned something new-I learned that I could make bubbles with my mouth-and I really like it-so hopefully mom can catch me and get some pictures but it quite fun!
Mom and I also got to meet my Aunt Lissa and Keegan at babies R us today to do a little shopping.
Then after dinner dad came by to see and play with me for a couple hours before leaving to go home for his football draft-but he says I get to see him in 2 days again.Comments:Add a comment:

Today we had play group at my buddie Jack's house. We had so much fun they have a lot of toys that I've never seen or played with before, plus it was good seeing Jack, Sophia and Lily. We had fun! We were there almost 3 hours.

Today I had my 1 year check up with Dr Jenkins. She said I was perfect and in the 95% for both height and weight (and mom and dad were worried I was a little to chunky) weighing 27lbs 4oz and measuring 32" (dad said watch out Aunt Gene-I'm catching up to your height-hehe. I did OK until the shots I even did OK giving blood they were doing a hemoglobin test which I passed and a lead test which we'll no in a couple days on that. But then the shots came-I had to get 2 in my legs and 2 in my arms-I was upset but so was mom-as I cried so did she. No I don't have to go back until I'm 15 months and I may even get to go with my brother or sister cause that would be right around there 1 month check up.
After the doctor's we went to Uno's Pizza for lunch-yum. Had fun eating, then afterwards mom and I went to Giant Eagle to get me some whole milk which I get to try and start weaning off the formula.
After my nap mom and dad played with me outside and I started to take some steps towards them on my own-it was only 1 or 2 but hey it's a start.Comments:Add a comment:

Today I had my 1st birthday party at North Park. It was so much fun-I got to walk around a bunch with everyone's help of course. And I even got my own "smash" cake-oh was that good. It was a really fun day!

Today after breakfast mom, Finn and I drove to Pittsburgh. I was so happy to get here nd see all the new toys gammie and pappie found for me.
After dinner we met Aunt Lissa and Cousin Keegan for dinner at Perrytowne then we went to St Theresa's Festival. It was fun I got to ride a Merry Go Round for the 1st time with mom. I would have rode more rides but I was still a little to young.Comments:Add a comment:

Happy 1st Birthday to me!!!!! Well today when mom and dad came to get me in the morning they were singing Happy Birthday song to me. After breakfast we went for a walk.
After lunch we went to the Franklin Park Conservatory. They had butterfly releases and a butterfly room with all kinds of pretty butterflies flying around. There were also waterfalls and fish ponds there. The fish were huge.
After dinner, mom and dad sang to me again and then I got to have my 1st cake-and boy was it good it was carrot cake that had my favorite in it-raisans. At first I wasn't to sure what I was supposed to do-it was all sticky and stuff but then I got the hang of it and dug right in. After eating that and being sticky from head to toe-mom and dad let me play with the hose for a little bit and I even got to use a little soap and of course got to squirt Finnegan which we both love to do.
After all that we came in and I got to open some presents that mom and dad had gotten me and play in our play room. What a really fun 1st birthday. I also wanted to thank everyone that called me and emailed me Happy 1st Birthday-I really appreciate how many people think of me!!!! Today I had music class-that is so much fun! The next class doesn't start again until September 9th or something but mom says she's signing me up-yippie! Also my buddie Jack was there and afterwards he gave me a birthday present. It was a wooden puzzle with knobs (which I just love) and a book.

Today, mom had to go to Pittsburgh, but guess what ? I didn't have to get in the car again !! She let me stay home along with Dad & Finn. We went for a walk in the morning and then I took a nap. After my lunch, dad & I went hiking in a local park where I saw a snapping turtle and more squirrels than I could shake my stick at.. After my afternoon nap, we went out for dinner and then came back, played, got my bath and went to bed around 8:00(FYI-Mom) Mommy comes home tomorrow, can't wait !!

Today after lunch mom and I went to the zoo to meet up with some of my play group friends. Mom was a little worried cause she never drove there by herself before-but she said it wasn't that bad and she'd do it again-yippie! I got to see Sophia, Jack and Braven today-we had a lot of fun.

Today I am 51 weeks old. Mom, Finn and I went for a walk after breakfast.
After lunch mom and I went to Blacklick Park-it was really nice. We walked around then I got to eat some yogurt while mom had a banana, then I got to ride on the swings.
Before my nap I was playing as usual and Finn bumped into me and knocked me down onto the ceramic tile-I got a nice egg on my forehead-mom was pretty upset so was I but I think I was upset more because I was tired and not so much that it hurt.
After dinner dad,mom and I played outside-what a nice day today. I played with my ball, sticks and dirt-typical boy-mom says.Comments:Add a comment:

Today we went to church after my breakfast-I really like that place all the people and the singing. But I tell you what as soon as it gets quiet I must make myself known and boy do I ever-mom and dad a to shush me a couple times-hehe.
For lunch we went to Abuelo's a mexican place down at Easton. We sat outside what a nice cool day. Then after lunch we went and checked out the train and the water fountain's. Then of course did a little shopping.
For dinner Lisa, Steve, Mitchell and Brandon came over to swim and play with me-swimming was pretty short the water was pretty cool, but then we played kick ball. It was fun playing with the boys!Comments:Add a comment:

Today we went to Panara for breakfast then swimming after lunch, then after dinner we went to the Ohio State Fair.
The fair was so much fun I got to see all kinds of people and animals and have some fair food. Dad won me a ball by playing guess your weight game-the guy had to come within 3 lbs and well let's just say he was off by 20-won't say which way though. He also guessed mom's due date-he said he could come within 10 days and he guessed November 11th our due date is Nov 5th so he won that one. Fun day with mom and dad!!!!Comments:Add a comment:

Well I really liked my new room-cause mom and dad didn't hear a peep put of me all night-not they usually do and I slept till almost 8 (and that was with going to bed at 8pm) So I think I'm going to enjoy my new room just fine.

Today after breakfast mom and left for Columbus. So I think our traveling has ended for at least a little bit.
For my nap when we got home I got to sleep in my new room. I really liked it. I'm going to get to sleep there again for bed.
I am now offically only using sippie cups. Tonight mom gave me my formula in 1 (that was the last bottle I was still getting) and I did just fine-so I think we are putting the bottles away for my brother or sister.Comments:Add a comment:

For breakfast we went to Denny's and they sat us next to a little girl who was 10 months old-so we had some flirting going on. Then some nice man gave me his umbrella to play with too.
After dinner we got to go over to Aunt Lissa and Jeff's house to meet my new cousin Keegan. Oh boy did I love him. I wanted to hold him and then when I wasn't holding him I would get all excited. Today I am 50 weeks old. After breakfast we left to get back to Pittsburgh. Boy I was not a happy camper through some of the ride-I think I'm just tired of all the traveling. But when we finally made it to Pittsbrugh I was so happy. Mom and dad went to the hospital to see Keegan and my Aunt Lissa and Uncle Jeff and I got to stay and play with gammie and pappie. I'll get to see my cousin Keegan tomorrow when they get to come home.

This morning at 7am my cousin Keegan was born. He weighed 6lbs 14 oz and was 20" long. I'm so excited I can't wait to meet him!
Today after lunch we had to check out of the hotel and then we headed over to the farm where they were having a birthday party for me (and some other people's whose birthdays are also in August) We had a lot of fun. I got to play and see all kinds of people and even played with some kids and dogs. I also got to see the cows and calfs-they are so cute.
After the party we headed to Brian,Rachel and Chloe's house to stay the night. Chloe is so cute so I enjoyed playing with her and her crazy kitten Leonard.Comments:Add a comment:

Today after lunch Grandpa K and my Auntie Melissa came to the hotel to play with me while mom and dad went to a wedding. I had a lot of fun with them-we went shopping at the mall-I got to see some trains. We ate at the mall, we ate at the hotel we played and they even gave me a bath-I had a lot of fun!
